The Best Gastronomic Events in Barcelona

If you like to use your weekends to try new dishes and street food, these are the perfect foodie dates for you! 😋👇🏼

On this gastronomic route, not only will your tastebuds be taken on a journey, but all five of your senses will be taken for a ride as you experience music, shows, markets and more!

We invite you to join us and experience the fun together!

All Those Food Market

Looking for the best city-feel, an exceptional location, and the most aesthetically pleasing artisan projects? This is the place for you.

All in one space, this event reunites leading local gastronomic projects—some of which are new on the scene and the current talk of the town—and others which have been around a little longer which have become an absolute must.

You’ll find a variety of street food, such as sourdough pizzas, rice, roasts; just to name a few. And fear not, sweet-toothed people! There are lots of creative options for you to choose from, from ice-cream to cakes and the likes. Last year, we were able to try desserts from DelaCrem, Takashi Ochiai and Jon Cake. Mmmm... 🍰

And to wash it all down, why not stop for a vermouth or artisan beer, or sample some artisanal cava from one of the 10 local bars?

All Those always opts for natural cosmetics, and you can also find ceramic goods, hand-crafted candles, and plants. The gastronomic workshops were definitely one of the best parts of the festival.

Flavor, tradition, and quality! We’re eagerly awaiting the dates of this year’s festival. 😋

BioCultura Ecological Products and Responsible Consumption Fair

Are you a fan of eco-friendly products and responsible consumption? BioCultura is this sector’s biggest fair in the state.🌱

The 29th edition is coming, and it will take place in Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona. Be on the look out for the latest additions to the ecological sector, which will help us to adopt healthier habits and to be more responsible consumers.

This year 300 speakers will come together, all dedicated to bio-alimentation, ecological cosmetics, sustainable fashion, healthy homes, responsible tourism, renewable energy, sustainable mobility, artisanal goods, and NGOs. 💚

Add these dates to your agenda: May 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th  2023.

Tast a la Rambla

There’s no room for doubt here—this is the festival of festivals, our team’s personal favorite, and one we never, ever miss! 🤝🏼

La Rambla of Barcelona is transformed into a  gastronomic walkway where you can try tapas and bite-sized samples elaborated by the best restaurants in the city.

It’s divided into four zones: Signature Cuisine, Pastry, Tapas and Dishes, and Traditional Cuisine. This party of the senses is full of diverse activities, music, and gastronomic workshops where you can see live-action cooking and sample as you go.

Buy you tokens at the desk and use them to pay in any of the stalls at Tast a la Rambla. Price per dish is around 4€!

If you’re a true foodie, don’t miss out!

OríGenes Gastronomic Festival

If you’re looking for a more exclusive event, the  oríGenes Gastronomic Festival is a boutique festival that offers a more private gastronomic experience.

Only one edition has taken place so far, in an open space amongst vineyards, forestry, sea, and mountains. Eight hours long, in the middle of nature, during which over 12 live-cooked dishes are available to taste, accompanied by 11 different wines. In doing so, they aim to enlighten their attendees on the ancestral processes behind different foods.

This festival also offers inspiring chats given by leading visionaries of the world of gastronomy and sustainability, live music, audio-visual expositions and innovative creators’ workshops.

We’re waiting for news on the next dates!

Festivalet

This event has already become an essential Christmas tradition for many, ourselves included—we love forming part of the team and presenting our collection of Soles, Panettones, our turrones Essentials, and our book, of course!

Festivalet brings together a selection of the best designers and both national and international craftspeople, and it is a place where you can buy directly from the creators of the product.

You’ll find craftspeople of a variety of sectors, such as pottery, gastronomy, fashion, design, essences, to name a few. What’s more, you’ll also be met with a selection of food trucks perfect for everyone’s tastes and full of delicious food.

It’s the best plan for a family day out and to discover new and interesting products, hands down. And what an enticing environment! Will we see you there this year? 🤩✨

Passeig de gourmets

Good news for you gastronomy lovers of Catalonia! Passeig de Gourmets Paseo de Gracia’s very own gastronomic festival, where, for a few days, it is transformed into one big kitchen.

The best chefs and restaurants of Paseo allow us to enjoy all their culinary creations. A date full of flavor and seasonal proposals in search of the most select palates in the city.

It is a unique occasion in which you’ll be able totour the city’s most glamorous restaurants and sample their dishes. Amongst them, we find: Hotel Casa Fuster, Mandarin Oriental, Solomillo Restaurant, Majestic Hotel & Spa, Sintonia, and many more.

The event is divided into two routes: “The Little Dish Route” and the “Sampling Menus”, for everyone to choose as they please. If you’re a fan of Michelin Star restaurants, this is the event for you!

Mostra Internacional de Pastisseria de Sant Vicenç dels Horts (International Pastry Fair of Sant Vicenç dels Horts)

The Muestra de Pastelería of Sant Vicenç dels Horts celebrated its sixth edition this January! As part of the winter Fiesta Mayor, the Town Hall organizes this traditional commercial, agricultural and gastronomical event, which gathers the best of the Vincentian offer, based on locally-sourced products of the highest quality.

Over the course of three days, master pastry chefs (real, authentic forces to be reckoned with, both national and international) prepare different pastry elaborations live.

A true luxury and exceptional opportunity to get closer to some of the greatest pastry chefs, but above all, to try all of their exquisite recipes! 🤗

We’ve already noted a few of these events down in our agendas, and others are soon to announce their 2023 dates.

From our school, we want to spread awareness of and support our fellow craftspeople, entrepreneurs, and local products that strive day after day to keep going forward and be noticed for their quality work.

If any other of your favorite gastro festivals that take place in Barcelona come to mind, don’t hesitate to email us. It’d be our pleasure to try it and give you our opinion. ☺
